Most of the performances start at 19.00, but it's better to check before. You can buy the tickets in the theaters' ticket sales offices or in other places outside. If you have no tickets but enough cash, you can come just to the beginning of the perfomance and buy the tickets from dealers. These guys sell tickets for all the perfomances, I don't know how they get the tickets but they always sell tickets to the plays. Their typical method is to the overcharge, so you must bargain. Usually they provide real tickets, but sometimes it can be false – check the ticket thoroughly.
Most of the theatres do not work from July to September.
